Wanted an 8.5 W all-leather Oxford in basic black, and Florsheim makes a solid line of them. They seemed expensive, but nobody must have wanted a triple E width because it was much less expensive than other sizes. Finding to my surprise that EEE is only 1/8" wider than W width, I tried it and it seems fine.I got the 5E size. the last time I had shoes that fit so well, was when I used to get it switched for my feet, while at school. The only thing I do not like about it is the sole, it is too hard and there is no cushioning. You cannot wear this shoes and walk on the streets, as there is grip or treads under the shoes to help you grip the street while walking.I have been wearing the same brand and style of florisheim shoes for over 15 years. I bought these shoes to replace a pair that I’ve been wearing for the last seven years that we’re still going strong. The shoes I bought are not even six months old and they’re already falling apart. The laces begin to fray and fall apart within the first two months of wear. And now the bottom of the shoes is starting to come apart. Overwhelmingly disappointed with the shoes.A great looking shoe, yet labeled 9 1/2 B but fit was close to a 9 1/2 D. a disappointment. This shoe fits true to size. The quality is good. Be aware, that if you own other Florsheim shoes, the fit may not be the same. My husband usually wears a wide, but not in Florsheim. This pair we should have bought in a wide.Good quality. A little on the uncomfortable side as you are breaking them in. Leather pad and sold heal. Look good and sound good when you walk. Looking forward to breaking them in more. While they look nice and are light weight, the length seems to be off between the left & right shoes. Left shoe fits nicely, but the right is cramped for my big toe, even though there is plenty of room in the toe box for the rest of my toes. Have not had a problem like this with any other shoes.Shoes are good quality. However wide was not wide enough. I got 5e because that is what I normally wear.wedding
