From a strong breeze to a blast of cold air, the L4 Gale Jacket will keep you warm and dry with extreme wind protection and moisture resistance. The Gale Jacket is part of the two layer soft shell line and is fashioned as a mid/outer layer in the APX™ system. It's great as an outer layer when its chilly outside with low precipitation conditions or as a mid-layer under the L5 Cyclone Jacket or L5 Whiteout Parka acting as the outer layer in extreme conditions. This quiet, abrasion resistant fabric with micro-fleece lining provides extreme comfort and extreme protection from wind exposure. Bonded zippers and pockets provide less stress where stitching could degrade the structure of the fabric.
