I think they technically run small. I wear a women's size 12 but buy men's shoes sometimes because it's a pain to find practical shoes. I can't judge the width because men's shoes are always too wide on me. I do think the length must run short though because I always wear a size 10 but I took the advice of reviews online and bought an 11. Thank goodness I did because if I bought the 10 it would have been too small. I've worn them several times so far in the Northeast cold. I have flat feet and most of the times boots hurt after wearing them all day. I've had no pain at all when walking around with them. They are definitely waterproof as I have deliberately walked in puddles when it's been raining. Also they are warm. I like that they don't have a bunch of furriness hanging outside of them like women's winter boots tend to have. They have a really nice practical look. The boot is one of those where you kinda have to shove your foot down in on an angle because there is no separate free moving tongue. I hope I'm describing it well enough. The way it is designed with the way you slide your feet in I'm sure must be part of the reason it is so airtight and water proof. They are warm too. I did spray the suede with some protecting though but I don't know if it was really needed. I would definitely recommend. Oh also the tread is nice and rugged. I haven't slipped yet.Kept my feel warm for days while trudging through the Montana snowy wild.I have no idea how comfortable or waterproof these are because I couldn’t get them on. I even ordered a second pair one size larger and had the same issue. The tongue is sewn to the sides of the shoe to prevent water from getting in, but as a result it also creates a narrow entry point for your foot. Since they are taller boots, it can be more effective then a 15 minute HIIT workout video just trying to get them on.I brought this for my son’s birthday. The structure and color was perfect. He is very happy.I bought my husband boots that I thought would hold up for the winter, boy was I wrong! These boots are very well made & warm. I mean come on there Bearpaws.Great boots for the snow and ice. Keeps your feet warm and dry, even in the heaviest of snow and rain. Boots are waterproof. Highly recommend for snow, ice and rain!This boot was all right to look at but the inside wasn't warm enough for the winter cold and snow and that is what my husband is looking for.Item is perfect.
