Like the other Mephisto sandals and shoes I own, these are definitely a cut above. They're very well-made and extremely comfortable. They look a little dressier on my feet than I expected, but that's okay--they'd fit right in during a summer backyard barbecue where everyone is washing down their ribs with wine. (That is, of course, when it's safe for us to have backyard barbecues again.)Fits and feels very well
